Website support & maintenance

Website Support & Maintenance

A website that is left alone after launch slowly gets slower, more vulnerable and less visible in search. Regular maintenance means problems are found and fixed before your customers or Google run into them.

What is included?

We design the solution around the real business problem.

01

Monitoring and availability

The first sign of a problem should reach us, not your customer.

  • Continuous uptime monitoring with fast alerts
  • Tracking SSL and domain expiry so a forgotten renewal never takes the site offline
  • Reviewing error logs and hosting resource usage, especially on shared hosting with process limits
  • Checking that key flows such as contact forms, sign-ups and payments still work
02

Backups and recovery

A backup that has never been restored is only an assumption, so we actually test restores.

  • Regular backups of files and database
  • Copies stored away from the primary server
  • A fresh backup before every significant update
  • Periodic restore tests, with the steps documented
03

Updates and security

Most hacked websites are compromised through outdated software and weak passwords, not exotic attacks.

  • Updating core, themes, plugins and dependencies in a safe, reversible order
  • Hardening admin access: strong passwords, limited failed attempts and two-factor authentication where possible
  • Reviewing security headers and HTTPS configuration
  • Cleanup and follow-up when signs of intrusion or spam appear
04

Speed and technical SEO

A site that gets heavier month after month loses both users and rankings.

  • Monitoring Core Web Vitals and spotting pages that have slowed down
  • Optimizing images, caching and scripts that were added over time
  • Reviewing Search Console reports: indexing errors, removed pages and broken links
  • Maintaining the sitemap and redirects when pages change or disappear
05

Changes and fixes

Part of every month is reserved for day-to-day work and your requests.

  • Editing text, images and page structure
  • Adding a new page, article or section
  • Fixing bugs and browser or device incompatibilities
  • Adding small features within the agreed hours
06

Reporting and transparency

You should know what is being done for your website and what your budget turned into.

  • A monthly report on updates, incidents and changes
  • Speed, availability and indexing status
  • A list of risks and suggested next actions, in priority order

How the project moves

A clear process. A measurable outcome.

01

Assess the current state

We review the site, hosting, backups, software versions, security and speed, and produce a prioritized list of risks.

02

Set up monitoring and backups

Monitoring and alerts, automated backups and a restore procedure are put in place and tested once for real.

03

Monthly maintenance

Updates, bug fixes and requested changes are handled on the agreed schedule and priorities.

04

Report and keep improving

Every month you receive a report on the work done, the state of the site and suggested next steps.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Which kinds of websites do you support?

WordPress sites and sites built with Next.js and React. If your site uses another technology, we first assess it and then decide whether we can maintain it.

Do you support websites built by someone else?

Yes, given the necessary access and after an initial assessment. The assessment shows the site's current state and what must be fixed before ongoing maintenance starts.

What happens if my site gets hacked?

The site is restored from the latest clean backup, and the entry point is investigated and closed. The purpose of this service is to make such an incident less likely through updates, backups and monitoring, and to keep recovery time short if it happens.

How is the price determined?

It depends on the size and technology of the site, how sensitive its features are (a shop or payments, for example) and how many changes you expect each month. After the initial assessment you receive a clear scope and estimate.

What if a request falls outside the agreed scope?

The effort and cost are shared with you before work starts and it proceeds only with your approval, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
